Production/Workshop Technician (Jr. Level)

Responsibilities:
- Perform disassembly and cleaning of vacuum pumps and components following standard procedures.
- Support inspection and reporting activities during service jobs.
- Assist in reassembly and functional testing of serviced vacuum pumps.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely (e.g., hand tools, power tools, lifting devices).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area.
- Accurately complete job-related records and documentation.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with leads and managers to meet job turnaround targets.
- Participate in training and upskilling activities as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent. Technical/vocational certificate in mechanical/electrical field is an advantage.
- Experience in a production, service, or workshop environment is preferred but not required.
- Able to understand and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components is a plus.
